Application Requirements
All Outset Year (Freshman) Applicants

Transfer Applicants
Boosted Requirements for International Applicants
To provide the very best support for our international students, we require students who are citizens of countries where English is non the common language to demonstrate proof of English language proficiency by submitting results of the Test of English as a Foreign Linguistic communication (TOEFL) or International English Linguistic communication Testing System (IELTS).
Minimum score requirements:
- TOEFL - A minimum score of 61 (internet version) is required for admission. Students who score between 61 and 79 may exist required to enroll in English equally a 2nd Language (ESL) courses at the Higher. Students who score 80 or higher may be allowed to waive English as a 2d Language (ESL) courses at the College. ESL courses are taught concurrently with other coursework and practice not require additional semesters or delay graduation. There is no additional accuse for ESL courses.
- IELTS - A minimum score of 6.0 is required for admission. Students who score between 6.0 and 6.5 may be required to enroll in English language as a 2d Language (ESL) courses at the Higher. Students who score 6.5 or college may be allowed to waive English as a Second Linguistic communication (ESL) courses at the College. ESL courses are taught concurrently with other coursework and exercise not require additional semesters or delay graduation. There is no additional charge for ESL courses.
- Duolingo – A minimum score of 90 is required for admission. Students who score between 94 and 104 may be required to enroll in English as a Second Linguistic communication (ESL) courses at the College. Students who score 105 or higher may be allowed to waive English every bit a 2d Language (ESL) courses at the Higher. Homeschool Applicants
Homeschoolers must achieve a standard high school diploma, recognized past their local school district, or a GED.
Veteran Applicants
Students applying for benefits will be required to provide proof of eligibility prior to receiving benefits. New students applying for benefits must make an appointment to see the Veteran's Assistants (VA) Certifying Official in the Office of Advising, Records and Registration. The VA Certifying Official will then complete eligibility papers for the pupil and submit them to the VA. Eligible students must maintain satisfactory academic progress for all terms in which they are enrolled, in order to continue to receive benefits.

Readmission Applicants

Students who have previously attended Ringling College of Art and Design and wish to return to complete their caste program should complete this application. Students who took courses at other institutions since attending Ringling College must present an official final transcript with grades of "C" or meliorate to be considered for readmission. Additional data such equally updated portfolio may be required. Acceptance will be decided on a competitive basis among other readmit students vying for the same level and on a space-bachelor footing.
Leap readmit – awarding should be received no later than Nov 15.
Fall readmit – application should be received no later than April 15.

Application Deadlines
Calculator Animation
Computer Animation is the only major at Ringling College with specific awarding deadlines. Estimator Animation applicants may choose from two options: Early on Action and Regular Decision. Early Action is not-binding, significant applicants who choose this pick volition receive a determination earlier, but will notwithstanding have until May ane to confirm their intent to enroll. Calculator Animation applicants who practice not specifically choose the Early Action option on their application will automatically be reviewed for Regular Decision.

Ringling College accepts applications throughout the year on Rolling Admission for all majors other than Computer Animation, meaning in that location is no specific application deadline.
Credits
International Baccalaureate Credit
Ringling College recognizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Students with IB coursework may be given credit for individual liberal arts courses if they score five through 7 on the IB College-Level Examinations. No credit is given for Subsidiary-Level or Standard-Level work. See more information hither.
